Eligibility for UP Free Tablet Smartphone Yojana

To qualify for the UP Free Tablet Smartphone Yojana, students must meet the following criteria:

  • Must be a permanent resident of Uttar Pradesh.
  • Must be enrolled in graduation, post-graduation, technical, or diploma courses.
  • The family’s annual income must be ₹2,00,000 or less.

Application Process for UP Free Tablet Smartphone Yojana

Instructions for Students:

  • Students do not need to register or apply anywhere to receive a tablet/smartphone under this scheme.
  • No login ID will be created for students at any stage of the process.
  • Colleges and universities will provide student enrollment data, which will be uploaded to the Digishakti portal.
  • After data upload and verification, each student must complete Aadhaar authentication through the “e-KYC through MeriPehchaan Portal” button available on the Digishakti website (www.digishakti.up.gov.in).
  • If there are any discrepancies in the data, students can inform their college’s nodal officer.
  • Students will receive regular updates about their tablet/smartphone status via SMS.
